For use in grafting, not a tree. Scion is approximately 6-10" in length and should be good for two grafts, depending on your method.
Darrow Che is a self-fertile, seedless female variety that produces an abundance of maroon-red, 1-2 inch fruits that ripen to a sweet flavor reminiscent of figs with a hint of watermelon.
The Darrow Che variety is named after Dr. George M. Darrow, a renowned USDA plant breeder who was instrumental in developing many of the commercial strawberry varieties that we enjoy today. Dr. Darrow was also interested in other small fruits, and he was particularly fond of the Che tree.
