Hardy Hartford is a Mount Etna type fig that is cold hardy to at least -4F. First discovered in Hartford, Conneticut growing outdoors.

This is an underappreciated fig, producing abundant medium-sized dark berry figs that ripen consistently over a long season. Ripening starts fairly early for us and extends until the end of the season when frost enters the scene.

Our figs are grown in-ground without protection in zone 6b Kansas. Cuttings are thicker and more substantial than those grown in containers. Our goal is to provide cold hardy fig varieties that we have tested and found to be productive in our climate.

Cuttings are approximately 6-8" with minimum of 3 nodes and fully lignified.
