Quince (Cydonia Oblonga) is an ancient fruit with a long history of cultivation by the Romans and Greeks throughout the Mediterranean region. For us, growing quince in Kansas is still experimental, and we offer scion from the trees in our orchard which show the most promise.

All of our quince trees are grown at our zone 6 nursery in Kansas. We recommend grafting scion onto Quince "A" or BA29C rootstocks. We are experimenting with grafting quince onto pear rootstock and so far have seen promising results.

Scion wood is only available in mid to late winter.
