Atreano Gold produces large, juicy, light green figs with honey-colored flesh. The flavor is full and sprightly when allowed to hang on the tree and get fully ripe. It could be described as "honey berry". Atreano Gold is a vigorous grower and reliably produces figs in our zone 6 orchard. If you can protect them from birds and other mauraders, you will be rewarded.
 
Our figs are grown in-ground without protection in zone 6b Kansas. Cuttings are thicker and more substantial than those grown in containers. Our goal is to provide cold hardy fig varieties that we have tested and found to be productive in our climate.
 
Cuttings are approximately 6-8" with minimum of 3 nodes and fully lignified.
