Cold-Hardy Seed-Line Selections
Scionwood for use in grafting — not a potted tree.
This scionwood is cut from seed-grown peach trees descended from the Siberian C peach line. These trees come from multiple generations of Siberian C seed stock, forming a cold-hardy, genetically diverse breeding population selected for vigor, winter survival, and adaptability.
This is not clonal Siberian C. Each scion represents a unique seed-grown selection within the Siberian C-derived line.
About the Siberian C Line
Siberian C is valued for exceptional cold hardiness, strong growth, usefulness in breeding, as rootstock, and the production of good-quality white-fleshed peaches.
This seed line preserves those traits while allowing new, regionally adapted combinations to emerge.
Scion Size
Each scion is approximately 6–10 inches long and typically suitable for two grafts, depending on your grafting method.
Hardiness
Parent trees in this line have demonstrated cold tolerance across approximately USDA Zones 4–9, though individual selections may vary.
Use & Expectations
These scions are ideal for:
hardy backyard orchards
rootstock and interstem development
breeding and selection projects
growers interested in climate-adapted peaches
Because this material comes from seed-grown trees, grafted trees will remain genetically identical to the selected parent tree but will not be identical to the original Siberian C cultivar. Each scion represents a potential future cultivar.
Important Note
You are purchasing propagation material from a Siberian C-derived seed population, not a cloned Siberian C peach.
