Scion Policy At Mad Cat Farm, we take pride in providing high-quality, viable scion wood for grafting. To ensure clarity and fairness for all customers, please review the following terms regarding the purchase and use of our scion wood: Scion Condition & Guarantee All scion wood is harvested fresh, inspected for quality, and stored properly before shipping. We guarantee that scion wood is viable when shipped but cannot guarantee its viability beyond the point of delivery due to factors outside our control, such as storage conditions, delayed use, or improper handling. Scion Storage & Responsibility Scion wood should be grafted as soon as conditions allow for optimal success. Proper storage is essential for maintaining scion viability. It is the customer's responsibility to research and implement appropriate storage methods based on their specific needs and climate. If you choose to store scion wood for future use, you assume full responsibility for its condition and viability. Scion Grafting Success Disclaimer The success of grafting depends on multiple factors, including timing, technique, rootstock compatibility, weather conditions, and aftercare. We do not guarantee grafting success, as these variables are beyond our control. Scion Returns & Refunds Due to the perishable nature of scion wood, all sales are final. We do not accept returns. If you receive scion wood that is damaged or not as described, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos documenting the issue. If you require scion wood for a specific grafting window, plan your order accordingly. Orders shipped earlier in the season are the customer’s responsibility to store properly if not used immediately. We cannot hold orders or delay shipping times for individual orders. Scion wood is shipped when orders are received and only while the trees are in their dormant season. Orders placed during dormancy will be shipped within that period and will not be held for later shipping in most cases. Orders placed outside the dormancy period will be held until scion is available to be cut and shipped, usually in December through March. If we decide to offer a financial incentive, we will notify you of such financial incentive and explain the price difference, as well as material terms of the financial incentive or price of service difference, including the categories of personal information that are implicated by the financial incentive or price or service difference. Under California law, the value of your personal information to us is related to the value of the free or discounted products or services, or other benefits that you obtain or that are provided as part of the applicable program, less the expense related to offering those products, services, and benefits to program participants. If you choose to participate in the financial incentive you can withdraw from the financial incentive at any time by emailing us at info@madcatfarm.com , by visiting http://www.madcatfarm.com/contact , or by referring to the contact details at the bottom of this document.
